A woman is in custody after two babies were found dead at a house in Wandsworth.

The victims were a 10-week-old boy and a 14-month-old girl.

Emergency services went to the scene in Killarney Road, south London, at 7.25pm on Wednesday night.

Ambulance crews were unable to save the young pair.

Police arrested a woman in her mid-30s on suspicion of murder. She is being held at a south London police station. Inquiries continue.
