Ealing shooting and stabbing leaves two men in hospital

Police are appealing for witnesses after a shooting and a stabbing in Ealing, west London.

Officers were at 10.30pm on Saturday to the South Acton Estate following reports of gunshots.

Emergency services found a 27-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound and a 22-year-old man who had been stabbed.

The men were taken to hospital where they remain in a stable condition.

Detectives from the Trident gang crime command are investigating.

Two people have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody.
