A man was shot dead and a woman critically injured in a shooting in west London, this afternoon.

The incident happened in Felix Street, near to West Ealing railway station at 2.50pm.

A 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A woman in her 20s was rushed to a hospital in west London, where she is in a critical condition.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “A 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“A woman in her late 20s has gone to a west London hospital where she remains in a critical condition.”

No arrests had been made by 5.30pm today (Wednesday). Police enquiries continue.

A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: “We sent two ambulance crews, a single responder in a car, London’s air ambulance and one duty manager to the scene.

“Sadly, despite our best efforts, one patient died at the scene.

“A second patient, who is a female with a shoulder injury, was taken to hospital as a priority.”
