A dad of two has died after he was attacked at a party hosted by smartphone giant Blackberry and attended by pop star Jessie J, rapper Wretch and stars of hit T.V The Only Way is Essex (TOWIE) at Pulse nightclub in south London.
Philip Sherriff, 37, died this morning (Sunday) from a neck injury sustained on Tuesday evening at the event, in Southwark.
The married telecommunications professional from Lancashire suffered horrific injuries after an attacker used a bottle as a weapon against him.
Medics carried out an emergency operation on relieve pressure on his brain following the attack.
Company director Ashley Charles, 25 was arrested in connection with the incident, which police are now investigating as murder.
He was remanded in custody following an appearance at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court yesterday.
