The Ealing Green Local, in the Green, was badly damaged by looters on August 8.

They broke inside the supermarket and then set it on fire, causing huge damage.

Four flats above the shop were destroyed and neighbouring properties suffered water damage when firefighters battled the flames.

Now police have issued pictures of three men they seek over the arson attack.

Detective Sergeant Ewan Robertson said: “This mindless act has ruined people’s livelihoods and homes, but it could easily have resulted in the loss of their lives.

“I would ask anyone who recognises the men in these CCTV images to speak to police.”

Being sought by officers is a white man (pictured), wearing a distinctive hooded top with the letters ‘GSRD’ across the front.

The second man is black (pictured), wearing a black jacket with a grey hooded top underneath.

The third man is described as white (pictured), wearing a grey tracksuit and carrying a large black shoulder bag.

Call information is asked to call police on 020 8785 8580. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
