Man arrested in Jimmy Savile sexual abuse probe

A man in his 60s has been arrested in connection with the investigation into sexual offences allegedly committed by Jimmy Savile and others.

The man was detained in Surrey at around 7.40am and has been taken to a central London police station.

Scotland Yard said the individual fell under the strand of the Operation Yewtree investigation it has termed ‘Others’.
