A man has been charged with murder following the death of Thierry Christian-Gnanakumar in Lewisham last week.

Kohulan Podiappuhamey, 24, of Woodyates Road, Lee, will appear in custody at Bromley Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.

Thierry, 22, from Catford, died in the early hours of November 11 after a disturbance outside Lewisham Library in High Street.

A post-mortem examination gave cause of death as severe blunt force trauma to the head and face.
