Man charged with rape of 11-year-old girl

A teenager has been charged by officers investigating the alleged rape of an 11-year-old girl.
Opemipo Jaji, 18, of Osward Place, Enfield, was this morning charged with rape of a female under the age of 13 and the attempted rape of a female under the age of 13.
The charges follow an attack on an 11-year-old girl in Jubilee Park, Lower Edmonton on November 23.
Jaji is due to appear in custody at Enfield Magistrates’ Court today.
