Man in court over Lewisham police officer attack

A man has been charged in connection with an incident in which a police officer was injured in Lewisham.

Alexander Holm, 48, of Albion Villas Road, Sydenham, will appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court via videolink accused of attempted wounding with intent, assaulting a person thereby occasioning them actual bodily harm, and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.

It relates to an incident that allegedly took place in Farmcote Road on Wednesday afternoon.
