Murder charge over strangle death of homeless man at Marble Arch

A man has been charged with the murder of a rough sleeper who was found strangled at Marble Arch in central London.

Ghodratollah Barani, 26, of no fixed abode, will appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow charged with the murder of Mark Morrison, 46.

Mr Morrison, who was originally from Scotland but had been homeless in London for some time, was found dead in Westminster in the early hours of June 21.
