Plaistow assault: Man arrested in connection with attack on teenager

Police have arrested a man in connection with a brutal assault on a teenage girl in Plaistow.

The 16-year-old student was knocked unconscious after she was struck over the head at around 12.30pm on Tuesday, November 13 on High Street.

The 34-year-old suspect was arrested last night.

He is currently being held in custody at an east London police station.
