A woman arrested by police in terror raids has been released without charge.

The 30-year-old was arrested in Ealing, south London, on Thursday.

Also arrested in Ealing was a 21-year-old man.

A total of six suspects continue to be questioned by police, who were granted extra time by Westminster Magistrates Court yesterday (Saturday).

The detained suspects include a 22-year-old woman from Newham – the borough in which the Olympic site is located.

The alleged plan involved Islamist extremists with potential targets in the UK.

No link to the Olympic Games or the Paralympics has been established, it is understood.
