Stabbing in Penge - man arrested on suspicion of attempted murder

A 21-year-old was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after man was stabbed in Anerley Road, Penge in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police were called at around 4.35am where they discovered the victim, in his 50s, with knife wounds.
He was taken to hopital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The suspect remains in custody.
