A Stonebridge rapper charged with shooting a footballer at Harlesden train station has been acquitted in court today (Thursday).

Kevin Georgiou, 26, of Lawrence Way, who is known as K Koke, had signed up with Jay-Z’s record label weeks before he was charged with attempted murder.

Blackfriars Crown Court heard the 27-year-old victim from south London was shot because he had strayed into Stonebridge after a football tournament on March 9 this year

Georgiou, who had vehemently denied the charges, was accused alongside three teenage boys and a 17-year-old girl.

The trial continues.

More to come.
