Two teenagers have denied murdering a man who was found shot in his car.

Kyrone Daley and Sanchez Thomas, both 19, of Unity Close, Lambeth, pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey today to murdering Umar Tufail, 25, of South Norwood, on July 16.

Mr Tufail was found shot in the driver’s seat of his car by police in Wharncliffe Road, South Norwood, on July 15.

He was taken by ambulance to Kings College Hospital in Tooting, where he died from his injuries the following day.

Daley and Thomas were remanded in custody to face trial on March 11.
