Wallington murder probe after man found stabbed in street

A murder inquiry is under way after a man was found with multiple stab wounds in Wallington, south London.
Police were called just after 4am on Friday to Typhoon Way following reports of an assault.
A 36-year-old man was found in nearby Redford Avenue and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers believe the victim was injured at an address in Typhoon Way and then made his way to Redford Avenue before collapsing.
A 29-year-old man was arrested a short time later in nearby Defiant Way on suspicion of murder.
He remains in custody at a south London police station.
