Woman sought after alleged hospital baby snatch cleared of wrongdoing

A woman police wished to speak to in connection with an alleged attampted to snatch a baby from a hospital has been identified by officers, who say they are ‘satisfied a criminal offence did not take place’.

A spokesman for the Met said they thanked the public for their assistance in tracing her, but added she had not been arrested.

The woman was sought after an incident at St Thomas’ Hospital in central London on Saturday evening.
