Cyclist dies after lorry collision in Stepney

A cyclist has died following a collision involving a lorry in Stepney.

The man was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene of the incident in Commercial Road.

Police were called at around 8.20am. The lorry driver stopped at the scene.

Commercial Road is currently closed in both directions near the junction with Arbour Square. Investigators are at the scene and enquiries into the circumstances are under way.

Any witnesses should contact police on 101.
