Seniors held their Diamond Jubilee celebrations at a community party in Canning Town.
Canning Town's the Hub holds a street party for the Queens diamond jubileeOrganised by the Social Committee of the community centre, The Hub in Star Lane invited their elderly community for a free afternoon tea and live entertainment to mark 60 years of Queen Elizabeth’s reign.
The revellers also toasted upcoming London 2012 Olympic Games coming to our borough then took part in a raffle.
A special community memory book was created especially for the occasion so that all of the partygoers could add their memories of what promises to be a year to remember.
