Film fans have been queuing since early this morning for a glimpse of their idol when the latest episode of the vampire-love saga - Breaking Dawn part 1 - is premiered at the Vue cinema.

Co-stars due to join him on the red carpet include Taylor Lautner, Jamie Campbell Bower and Myanna Buring along with Director Bill Condon.

The 3,000 wristband priority passes, available since 6am, were all allocated by 1.30pm while the event itself on The Street area is not due to start until 5.45pm.

Celebrities who have performed or appeared at the development include Nicole Scherzinger, Dannii Minogue and Justin Bieber.

Tomorrow McFly star Tom Fletcher is due to launch and perform the official London 2012 mascot song On a Rainbow.
