Thousands of students from across the country descended on central London to plead with politicians to scrap tuition fees and wipe debts - but the protest was marred by a minority who attacked officers and caused damage to buildings.
Students from Barking and Dagenham College spent two days last week standing before a judging panel and pitching their ideas, Dragons Den-style, in a bid to win a spot on the team taking over the Barking and Dagenham Post this summer.
As our partnership with Barking and Dagenham College hots up, its students reveal their business and marketing plans, as they compete to take control of one of London24’s sister newspapers- the Barking and Dagenham Post. A lucky team of 12 students will be invited to London24’s headquarters in east London which we share with the Post to take over the newspaper for a whole week- from writing, to photography to selling the ad space.
