Spooky scenes haunted Stratford on Saturday as dark clouds descended over the Olympic Park.

The overcast scene coupled with the new fluorescent leaves surrounding the Stratford shopping centre on the Broadway looked more like something from a sci-fi film than real life.

This picture, entitled “The Aliens Have Landed”, was taken by Princess Maria Sviatopolk-Mirski on returning from a restaurant in Westfield Stratford City.

Princess Maria, from Stratford, captured this spooky scene and posted it to our new website iwitness24, which allows readers to share their news and favourite landmarks with us.
