It had to happen… internet smash-hit video One Pound Fish has been remixed.

A thumping beat and high-energy tune takes Upton Park trader Shahid Nazir’s market patter to a whole new level.

Getting a remix is a badge of honour on the web, showing that a video has gone viral.

Hopefully Nazir approves of the tribute. The Pakistani national certainly has enjoyed fame so far – even the X Factor asked him to audition.

Speaking of becoming a viral star, Nazir said: “I am trying to collect all of my pieces in the newspapers because I want to keep a record of it all.

“I did an interview for the BBC Asian Channel, and I gave an interview to BBC Radio the other day.

“Then the X Factor have been contacting me. They saw me sing on YouTube and asked me to audition.

“So I have been for two auditions and the final one is a video. And then if they like that, they will call me.”
