Busines tycoon Lord Alan Sugar will feature in a special episode of EastEnders for Children In Need this week.
Lord Sugar, who seeks out entrepreneurs on his show The Apprentice, will join cast members from the soap in a sequence to be aired on Friday during the BBC’s Children in Need appeal night.
The businessman tweeted photos of himself on set last week with Shane Richie who plays Alfie Moon, Nitin Ganatra who plays Masood Ahmed, and Perry Fenwick who plays Billy Mitchell.
Lord Sugar also posted: “Off to do some filming now at the set of EastEnders for a Children in Need sequence - hope to have some fun. Will let you know.”
The BBC have confirmed on their EastEnders website that he will joining the cast in Walford for the fundraising episode, writing: “Lord Sugar will be dropping in on Albert Square for an unexpected visit!”
Children In Need’s appeal night starts at 7.30pm on Friday on BBC One and will also include a special Top Gear feature, performances from musicians and special takes on musicals including Les Miserables and Shrek.
The charity raises money to change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.
