Man charged with murder of own mother

A man has been charged with killing his mother in their home.

Police found Pernella Forgie in her house in Glenfarg Road, Catford, at around 1.30pm yesterday.

She was taken to Lewisham Hospital but died the next day.

Simon Forgie, 42, of Glenfarg Road, is due to appear at Camberwell Green Magistrates’ Court tomorrow charged with his mother’s murder.
