The Apple iMac machines were taken from Cleeve Park School, Bexley Lane, and police are warning people to be wary if they are offered a similar machine at a knocked down price.

The computers, stolen on August 4, are regularly used by students and are believed to value in excess of £10,000.

Det Con Collins of Bexley Police said: “Someone is going to try and sell these computers and I want to make it clear to anyone who buys one that they may be prosecuted for handling stolen property.

“If you know who has stolen them call the police immediately.”

Anyone with information should call the police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously 0800 555 111.
