Motorcyclist dies in collision with truck

A motorcyclist died this morning following a collision with a rubbish truck.
The accident happened just before 6.10am in Kingsway, Holborn, near the junction with Great Queen Street.
The 35-year-old male motorcyclist suffered head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Next of kin have yet to be informed.
The lorry stopped at the scene.
Road closures remain in place in the area.
Officers from Road Death Investigation Unit at Northolt are investigating. Anyone with information call 020 8842 1817.
