A man has died after plunging from the window of his second floor flat in North Kensington.
Shaka Wilmot, 39, was taken to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington following the fall from his home at around 3am on Saturday morning, but later died from head injuries.
Police are treating the death as suspicious and are keen to speak to three people believed to have been inside the flat in Chesterton Road at the time of the incident.
The three are believed to have called the emergency services before fleeing the area, possibly in a car. They are described as one black man, one black woman and one white or mixed race woman, all aged around 30.
Detective Chief Inspector Charles King, from the Homicide and Serious Crime Command, said: “We don’t know how the victim came to fall from the window, which is why we are particularly appealing for those who were with him to come forward and help.
“We believe we know the identity of one of the women inside the flat.”.
Anyone with information is asked to call 020 8721 4054 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
A 24-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the investigation on Saturday.
They were taken to a south London police station and later bailed pending further inquiries.
