Police have started an investigation after a man fell from the 21st floor of a tower in Stratford and died.

The body of the 23-year-old man, who fell from Lund Point tower block, was discovered at 8.55am on Saturday morning in Carpenters Road. He has not been publicly identified.

Newham Council is understood to have provided CCTV footage of the fall to detectives.

Officers are treating the death as unexplained.
