Police are appealing for information into the death of an elderly woman following a traffic collision in Leytonstone.
Raxmo Sharif, 73, of Jersey Road, Leytonstone, was struck by a motorcycle outside Leyton Library on High Road on July 25. at approximately 16.47 on Thursday July 25.
The 73-year-old was taken to Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel, but died later the same day.
A post mortem gave the cause of death as multiple injuries.
The male motorcycle driver was also taken to hospital after suffering minor injuries.
The 28-year-old was discharged on July 25 and arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed until August 28.
Detectives want to speak with the driver of a dark-coloured Ford Focus that may have also been involved in the collision.
The car was seen travelling southbound on High Road at the time of the incident, which happened at around 4.47pm.
