A car belonging to a man stabbed to death in Isleworth last weekend has been recovered.
Detectives had appealed for help in tracing the silver Mazda 3, registered to Darryl McClymont, since it was driven away from the scene of his killing on December 29.
But it was found by officers in south London earlier today.
Mr McClymont, 23, was found fatally injured in Ferney Meade Way, Isleworth. He was later pronounced dead at the scene and a post-mortem examination gave his cause of death as a stab wound.
The Mazda contained a driver and two passengers, who are described as black men, aged in their early to mid-20s, of “proportionate build” and wearing dark clothes.
They were spotted by witnesses trying to lift Mr McClymont’s body into the car when they were disturbed. The car then left the estate.
There is no description of the driver, who stayed in the Mazda.
A murder investigation has been opened. Anyone with information should call the incident room on 020 8721 4005 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
