With just over three months until the mayoral election, we’d love to hear your ideas for how you would run London if you were in charge.

Supposing you beat Boris Johnson and Ken Livingstone to the City Hall hot-seat, what kind of Mayor would you be?

What would be your priorities? What would you spend money on? What changes would you make to the way the capital is currently run?

As well as promoting economic development and wealth creation, social development, and improvement of the environment, the Mayors duties include setting out plans and policies for transport, planning and development, housing, regeneration, culture and health inequalities.

Additionally, the Mayor sets the annual budget for the Greater London Authority and the wider GLA group, which includes the Met Police, Transport for London, London Development Agency and London Fire Brigade.

The person in office also has responsibility for Trafalgar Square and Parliament Square.

So over to you, Londoners tell us what you would do if you were in charge. Post your comments below, use facebook.com/london24, Twitter @archantlondon24 or email simon.bull@archant.co.uk
