London blogger Cindy Eve shares some of her insights into getting the best out of the capital.
Q. Where do you live and why?
A. Twickenham to be near the river.
Q. What does London mean to you?
A. It is my passion. I adore the history and the secrets, I love nothing more than to go walkabout and discover hidden places and her treasures.
Q. What is your earliest London memory?
A. The chimney pots, reminded me of Mary Poppins movie - my favourite movie of all time.
Q. If you could live anywhere in London, where would it be?
A. Everywhere! I could not choose one area as I love them all, or maybe on top of the Shard - the views would be amazing.
Q. What advice would you give to someone new in London?
A. Walk around the City of London and City of Westminster and just enjoy the things you see and find. Always look up for amazing artwork on the buildings and be curious; walk down alleyways and visit every church that's open, especially in the City.

A. St Paul's Cathedral and the view of Westminster from Hungerford Bridge.
Q. Where is your favourite place to eat or drink?
A. Sweetie Pies Boutique Bakery in Twickenham and Neal's Yard.

A. Hmm - I don't really shop but I love Liberty's store.
Q. What is your favourite London spot for relaxing?
A. Hampstead Heath at the ponds.
Q. What is your best London discovery or hidden treasure?
A. Guildhall and the Roman Amphitheatre.
Q. What is the first thing you would do if you were Mayor?
A. Insist that everyone who lives in London visits St Paul's Cathedral and Westminster Abbey and walks around the city at least once a month.
