More tickets for Olympic events including gymnastics have gone on sale today.
The London Organising Committee of the Olympic and Paralympic Games (LOCOG) today released a further batch of contingency tickets.
Fans can now buy tickets at the North Greenwich Arena for basketball, gymnastics artistic and gymnastics trampoline. The tickets are for seats in the hospitality suites, which were made available by LOCOG following high demand for places to watch the sports.
LOCOG commercial director Chris Townsend said: “More great tickets to watch Olympic sport have gone on sale today.
“Further tickets will be released on an almost daily basis from now until Games time. We encourage anyone interested in buying tickets to visit the ticketing website regularly to check the latest ticket availability.”
Contingency tickets are being made available as LOCOG finalises seating plans for events.
More than 4,500 jobs will be created in a £100million deal to transform the Press and Broadcast Centres on the Olympic Park, it was announced today.
