Paramedics are trying to rescue a woman who has been struck by a train at Finchley Road Tube station.

The woman was hit by a northbound Metropolitan line train at around 3pm this afternoon (25).

She is the second person in two weeks to have struck by a train at the station, which has been closed following the incident.

A British Transport Police spokesman confirmed officers had been called to the scene.

He said: “London Ambulance Service and Helicopter Emergency Medical Service paramedics attended to provide treatment to the woman for serious leg injuries.

“London Fire Brigade also attended the incident, which is currently being treated as non-suspicious.”
