Did you know that 859,375 cups of tea are drunk in London in an hour, or that the capital’s population increases by one every 60 minutes?

These are just two of the fascinating pieces of trivia featured in a new infographic to highlight how much can happen in a London hour.

It has been produced by the London Living blog, a site for the capital’s new East Village development, one of five planned new neighbourhoods with an E20 postcode.

With the clocks going forward by an hour this coming Sunday, it’s very interesting to see what can actually takes place inside an average 60 minutes in the capital, from the number of Boris Bikes ridden to the amount of pints consumed by thirsty Londoners.

What would your perfect London hour be like? If you could spend 60 minutes in London doing anything you liked, how would you spend your time? Describe it below.
