Now one of her fans has shot and captured a video of Arlene Cameron doing her thing.

You can check it out London’s most funky lollipop lady in action here.

Young children are not alone in rating Arlene. Commuters and van drivers show their love for the dancing by honking and waving.

Arlene puts her high spirited displays in Markhouse Road down to a lust for life she gained from surviving meningitis A in 2006.

Calling her style “spontaneous” Arlene said divine inspiration is the motivation.

“It is God who gives me my energy and inspiration to dance.”

Chiefs at Waltham Forest Council are clearly pleased that an employee is happy in her work.

“It’s wonderful to see someone who is obviously so happy in her job and is able to bring that sense of joy to work and make the community a more vibrant and pleasurable place to live.” said cllr Clyde Loakes, Waltham Forest Council Cabinet Member for Environment.
