Reunion for former Plaistovians in Lord Stanley

Former Plaistow residents can look forward to sharing memories and swapping stories at a reunion event at a pub in August.
It will be held at the Lord Stanley in St Mary’s Road, Plaistow on August 18. It will include a buffet, karaoke and raffles and an appearance by the Pearly Queen of Upton Park. Tickets are priced £5.
Proceeds from the evening will go to St Joseph’s Hospice in Hackney.
The idea comes from members of a Facebook page called I’m from E13 which now has 2000 members sharing photos and stories about the area they have grown up or lived in.
