Passengers face reduced services on the transport network in the capital during the Easter break.

Part closures will be in place on the Tube including the District Line in west London between Turnham Green and Ealing Broadway.

The Barking to Gospel Oak Overground line will run a Sunday service on Good Friday and Monday, and c2c trains will run with a Saturday service on these dates.

Bank holiday timetables will also be in place on buses on Good Friday and on Monday, a Transport for London spokesman confirmed.

Stansted Airport baggage handlers plan to go on strike during the weekend but management said contingency plans meant the airport should run as normal.

Airport operator BAA said it was not aware of other industrial action at British airports during the bank holiday weekend.

Tube closures will also be in place on the Circle, Metropolitan, Northern, Waterloo & City and Piccadilly Lines.
