Flights into and out of Heathrow Airport have been disrupted today because of fog.

Heathrow has had to axe 78 flights - 39 departures and 39 arrivals - because of poor visibility.

London City Airport has also been affected, with passengers being advised to check with their airlines for more information.

The Woolwich Ferry service was also suspended because of the weather.

It was the second day running of flight disruptions, following delays and cancellations yesterday due to anti-austerity strikes across Europe.
