London travel latest: A406 North Circular Road delays after accident but no Tube problems

Motorists in east London are facing queues and delays on the North Circular Road this morning.

Two lanes of the A406 are closed eastbound in Walthamstow between Crooked Billet Interchange and Waterwork’s Corner.

This is because of an accident earlier on, recovery work and a spillage on the road.

There is congestion to the Great Cambridge interchange.

There is currently a good service on the Tube after earlier delays on the District line, and no reported incidents affecting trains.
