Demonstrators estimate around 200 black cab drivers will congest the one-way system around Stratford at 5pm to protest against Transport for London who they claim is making it hard for licensed drivers “to make a reasonable living.”

The third protest this year, cabbies are protesting about TfL’s alleged failure to tackle a lack of work availability during the Olympics, the closure and relocation of taxi ranks, and recently their refusal to recognise the RMT London Taxi Branch.
