There are severe delays on the Hammersmith and City line this morning due to a signal failure, while some other lines are experiencing minor delays.

Transport for London is fixing a signal failure at Whitechapel, which has led to severe delays between Moorgate and Barking. There is a good service on the rest of the Hammersmith and City line.

There are minor delays on the District line between Earl’s Court and Upminster, and also on the Circle line, due to the same problem.

In addition, Thames Clippers passengers are being warned that delays may occur later this morning on services.

Thames Clippers said “We have received a yellow warning of fog for London and south east England: the lower reaches of the Thames are beginning to experience dense fog.

“All services are currently running are the moment but delays may be expected.”
