19:40 18 December 2012

Rail commuters using services in and out of Waterloo station have been affected by delays of up to an hour after a person was hit by a train.

The incident took place in Earlsfield.

South West Trains said the delays, affecting routes to Guildford, Reading and Weybridge, will continue until further notice.

In the mean time, passengers can use London buses or London Underground services between Clapham Junction and Wimbledon.

Tickets will also be accepted on First Great Western and Southern services.
