Tube passengers endured travel misery today with six Underground lines hit by delays.

The worst problems were on the Victoria and Jubilee lines, with the Circle, Hammersmith & City, Metropolitan and Northern lines also affected.

The severe delays on the Jubilee line were caused by faulty track at Green Park, while there were also severe delays on the Victoria line due to a signal failure at Victoria.

A faulty train at Baker Street station caused delays on the Circle, Hammersmith & City, and Metropolitan lines, while the delays on the Northern line were due to a signal failure at Hampstead.
