The Good Choices event attracted 70 people at Arnott Pre-school in Arnott Close, and was attended by institutions such as Sporting Club Thamesmead, The Link Thamesmead and an NHS Dentist.

The trust’s childcare manager Tracy Norcott said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for local residents, including the pre-school children and their parents and carers to find out the choices available to them.”

Arnott’s parents forum sold clothes and toys donated to them to raise money for days out and there was also a face painter and a disco at the event last Thursday (July 12).

Trust Thamesmead are holding another event next Thursday (July 19) at Acorn Pre-School, in Glimpsing Green.
