They also share their thoughts on how the Olympics may influence restaurant prices and Londoners’ eating out habits.
Their advice may go some way to improving Londoners’ impression of the food services industry within their city.
While the capital has become a world-leading centre of cuisine with tourists coming from far and wide to sample the best of British food, it seems the people who live here may not see things in such a positive light.
According to a poll conducted by Deliverance, more than 40 per cent they are eating out less than this time last year.
That may be down to finances being tight, but could also be because of dissatisfaction with prices and services.
Almost a third of Londoners said they are regularly spend a whopping £120 on a meal for two people with wine.
Hidden costs are hiking up the bill as well.
Nearly half of those surveyed said they have been served bottled water without asking for it and then been charged for it, while two thirds said they have had the same happen with bread and a third with pre-dinner appetizers like olives.
Sixty per cent of people said corkage charges should be scrapped by London restaurants.
When it came to services, two thirds of people said they have felt rushed to finish meals so a restaurant could use the table for other customers.
