The vocal coach of Barking school girl and Britain’s Got Talent star Molly Rainford has revealed she always knew her pupil had “something special”.

Singer Molly, 11, wowed the judges on yesterday’s semi-final with her heartfelt rendition of Roxette’s It Must Have Been Love and made it through to the final of the competition.

Her vocal coach, Danielle Barnett, has been teaching the talented youngster for around three years.

She told the Post: “Molly’s such a natural and I always knew she had something special.

“I’m not surprised at all that she has got through to the final.”

Asked how Molly was coping with the pressure of the competition and the recent media attention, Danielle said: “She’s as cool as a cucumber. Although never having taken part in anything like this before it doesn’t seem to faze her. I think she’s born to do this.”

After her performance on last night’s show, comedian and judge David Walliams exclaimed Molly was the best child performer they’d had on the show.

And fellow judge Alesha Dixon called her a mini Mariah Carey.

Simon Cowell said: “I really like you – you’re adorable. The version...I thought it was stunning. You controlled the room. It was absolutely beautiful.”

The live final of Britain’s Got Talent is on ITV on Saturday .
