Maureen Keating is inviting people to look around her beautiful garden on Sunday July 22 from 12 to 5pm and is raising money for patient care at the hospice in Havering-atte-Bower in the process.

At only 40 feet square the garden at Ashurst Drive, Barkingside, is full of surprises and features themed areas including a seaside garden, Japanese garden as well as a model village and railway.

In addition the garden, which recently made the top 12 in the Daily Mail National Gardening Competition, features a waterfall with a man made stream leading to a pond and seven other different water features and even a cafe.

Last year Maureen raised around £800 for the hospice by opening her garden.
