X Factor judge Tulisa would love to sit next to Cheryl Cole on the judging panel of the ITV1 show – but accepts the Call My Name singer will not feature in the new series.

“If I was a producer and I was picking judges for the show, I would probably go for different people than who I would like if I was on the show and wanted sitting next to me.

“I was a big fan of the show before I was on the panel, so I used to love watching Cheryl, so I would, yeah. I don’t think that’s going to happen though,” Tulisa told Free Radio.

X Factor supremo Simon Cowell recently named former N-Dubz star Tulisa this year’s head judge, but getting Cherly Cole back on the panel is beyond his powers.

Cheryl has said she will not appear any more on the telly talent contest
